A man can be seen standing leaning against the L. side of the bridge.
The window on the top floor of the L. turret had been removed by 1912.
The main doors were turned round during the 1925 changes to the
Tower, so that the wicket door is now in the R.

Note that there is no clock on the S.W. tower. It had always been thought
that the present 17th Century clock had been there since it was made.

Taken before the C18 kennel yard to L was joined to the Tower, roofed over and converted into accomodation by Bertha Jennings-Bramley in 1925
